Sultry Stuff...

NWS missed on their storms for our area today. The heat simply continues to fry out the vegetation down here. Many yards/gardens have been hurting for quite awhile and it will continue for the next few days.
Max was 98F
Low to 77F
Heat Index was 116F
Gust to 10 mph
No rain
Right now the temp is 86F Heat Index is 98F...feeling tropically right now…

San Jose, Ca. and the Valley's Weather Record for July 3rd.

This will be the first time in a long time I’ve done my ‘Past-Weather’ event so early in the evening. It’s just 6:25pm now.
Normally I do my W-Blogs between 8:30pm to 11:00pm.

No change in our Weather again. So another short blah Weather briefing heresmile
Another morning here of wide spread Coastal Marine late morning Stratus in our South Bay.
Otherwise, today was beautiful ‘Mostly Sunny’ (Holiday day off) lazy day for my wife and Iwink

Moderate Breezes 13-18 mph.
My Low was 56.7
My High was 86.5

Patchy AM Coastal Stratus tomorrow then Mostly Sunny again. High will be about 84 here.

Till tomorrow, have a Safe & Sober 4th of July.

DENIED!

And that was the case with the forecast of thunderstorms yesterday (apparently they occured everywhere bar here) which was a shame but at least the daytime highs have fallen from 79 on Monday to a far more pleasant 63 today (and are forecast to fall to an even more pleasant 59 by Monday).

May I also take this oppotunity to wish my American friends a Happy Independence Day tomorrow and assure that yes, you may have won the War of Independence from the UK but you still use our electoral system of first past the post!
